RemoteThe Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the Business Process Consultant to identify and manage customers’ business requirements by developing agile stories, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role drives collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical solutions, and supports the successful delivery of ServiceNow implementations. With deep experience in Agile or SAFe environments, the Senior Business Analyst leads backlog grooming, user story definition, and stakeholder engagement.
What is the role?
● Lead the capture and documentation of complex business processes, workflows, and user stories during Process Consulting Workshops, ensuring strategic alignment between business objectives and solution design
● Drive the story grooming and writing process, collaborating with the project team to prioritize and document business and process requirements
● Collaborate with Business Process Consultants and Technical Architects to support sprint planning and ensure effective execution of project deliverables
● Manage and maintain the RIDAC log, creating and refining user stories as needed throughout the project lifecycle
● Contribute to Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts by supporting or delivering knowledge transfer sessions, user documentation, and training
● Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and ongoing review of project artifacts and documentation
● Serve as a backup for Business Process Consultant and Engagement Manager roles as needed, including facilitating scrum ceremonies, status updates, and stakeholder demos
● Contribute to internal knowledge growth by participating in Centers of Excellence (COE’s), presenting knowledge sharing sessions, and mentoring Business Analysts or junior team members
● Continue learning service delivery solutions, technologies, and methodologies
● Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all client meetings and interactions
● Demonstrate strong corporate citizenship by completing required administrative tasks such as timesheets, feedback forms, and internal documentation accurately and on time
What experience do you need for success?
● 2+ years’ of experience working with the ServiceNow platform across implementations or solution delivery
● 2+ years’ of consulting experience, working directly with clients to deliver business or technical solutions
● Advanced knowledge of Agile and/or SAFe methodologies, with experience applying these frameworks in the context of ServiceNow implementations
● Extensive experience in writing user stories and refining business requirements, with the ability to translate complex needs into clear, actionable items
● Intermediate knowledge of at least one relevant industry, with the ability to apply knowledge to business analysis tasks
What will you bring with you?
● Certified System Administrator (CSA)
● Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
● Maintain an active government security clearance if applicable
The starting pay range for this role is $115,000.00 - $140,000.00. Full time employees will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance in addition to discretionary bonuses. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
