Description
As a Senior Contracts Manager you will support the company’s commercial and Public Sector contract base by reviewing, negotiating, finalizing, and tracking contract requirements. This position represents a critical role in support of GlideFast’s growth and develop, implement, and maintain systems or processes to ensure that GlideFast complies with customer requirements, governmental law, company and divisional policies.
Responsibilities
* Partner with internal and external counsel on commercial, and compliance as needed● Operate at the highest levels of integrity, ethical behavior, judgment, and discretion
● Demonstrated proficiency in navigating the proposal process, including the preparation and coordination of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), and Statement of Works (SOW)
● Accountable for providing comprehensive support to proposals, including analysis of solicitation requirements, negotiation of team member contractual input, review of teaming agreements, and coordination in the development of well-crafted proposal responses
● Track contract modifications, amendments, extensions, and closeouts, and partner with operational leaders to ensure related protocols are performed and documented both timely and appropriately
● Administer and manage state, local, and education government agencies (SLED) contracts
● Perform risk analysis and mitigation as required
● Review and compare compliance with task orders, SOWs, & Change Orders as applicable
● Advisal of proposal support in strategy to comply and meet customer requirements
● Assist in the planning, development & coordination of contract, subcontract and proposal support of the overall program objectives
● Thoroughly analyze and delineate legal and business risks, effectively communicating these risks to pertinent internal stakeholders for timely discussion and resolution
● Championing initiatives aimed at enhancing contract processes, with a focus on reducing cycle times and enhancing overall efficiency
● Providing comprehensive training and guidance to business teams on the utilization of contract templates, pertinent legal considerations, processes, and best practices in contracting.
* Perform competitive analysis on key competitors in the industry
● Protect GlideFast’s value by keeping information confidential
● Maintain industry knowledge on quality excellence and innovation
● Oversee and enforce ethical conduct in contractual relationships
● Proactively identify areas for process improvement within the contract management function.
● Provide insight to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and optimize outcomes.
Qualifications
* 7+ years’ experience with Contract Administration, Subcontract Administration and Proposal Support● Experience administering commercial contracts
● Experience administering SLED contracts
● Experience administering FED contracts is a plus
● Ability to analyze contracts, identify potential risks, and propose solutions
● Proven knowledge of contract law and relevant legal principles, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
* Self-motivated, disciplined professional able to function as a true business leader with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks
● Uphold excellent time management and organizational skills with an aptitude toward creative problem-solving
● Excellent proficiency with English language: written, reporting, verbal/oral communication skills; must be an effective presenter
● Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all client meetings and interactions
● Excellent communications skills required – verbally with customers and all levels of the business, as well as written with assessments and drafting contracts
● Effective negotiation skills required, with the ability to lead, focus on important issues, and effectively secure favorable terms for the organization.
● Strong organizational, interpersonal, and relationship development skills to communicate risk and noncompliance at the highest level
Certifications / Education
* Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of related experience● Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred
