RemoteThe IT Asset Manager will be responsible for managing our IT assets, ensuring the security of sensitive information, maintaining efficient inventory processes, purchasing new equipment, creating user accounts, and providing general level 1 troubleshooting support to users.
What is the role?
The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for managing our IT assets, ensuring the security of sensitive information, maintaining efficient inventory processes, purchasing new equipment, creating user accounts, and providing general level 1 troubleshooting support to users.● Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including computers, servers, networking equipment, and software licenses
● Track asset lifecycle, from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
● Coordinate the shipment of IT equipment to various locations, including remote employees
● Execute secure data wiping procedures on decommissioned computers and storage devices to protect sensitive information
● Purchase new IT equipment and software licenses as needed, following the company's procurement guidelines
● Create and manage user accounts for employees, ensuring access to necessary resources and applications
● Assist with password resets and access requests as required
● Provide basic troubleshooting and technical support to end-users, assisting with common IT issues and inquiries
● Collaborate with the building management team to address any issues related to office space, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements
● Operate and maintain the podcast studio, including equipment setup, and recording
What experience do you need for success?
● Basic knowledge of ServiceNow, preferred
● Previous experience in IT asset management or a related role is a plus
● Knowledge of data wiping methods, data security, and relevant industry standards
What will you bring with you?
● Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
