As a Platform Architect at GlideFast Consulting, you’ll partner directly with our federal customers to design, implement, and optimize their ServiceNow platforms. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with each agency’s mission and compliance requirements. This role combines deep technical expertise with consultative leadership, helping our public sector clients maximize the value of their platform investment.

 

What is the role?


● Lead the architectural design and oversee delivery of ServiceNow implementations aligned with client business objectives, helping clients maximize the platform’s value through effective solutions
● Collaborate with federal customers to understand mission needs and translate them into sustainable platform solutions.
● Own end-to-end technical solutions, including architecture, configuration, and integrations, across multiple projects
● Develop expert-level JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs to build scalable, maintainable solutions
● Design and implement business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACLs, data policies, and UI scripts
● Lead development efforts across key areas such as: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, IRM
● Experience with Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS), Custom Scoped Applications, Third-Party Integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Servers)
● Conduct client workshops, support demos, and gather technical and functional requirements
● Create technical architecture documents, including process flows and design specifications
● Review team code and provide feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
● Collaborate with Business Process Consultants during planning and validation sessions
● Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex issues across internal and client teams
● Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure timely, high-quality delivery with positive client feedback
● Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by staying current with service delivery solutions, technologies, and methodologies, and quickly developing proficiency in new products as required

 

 

What experience do you need for success?


● 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms, with proven architectural design expertise.
● Strong consulting skills — ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Hands-on experience with integrations, data modeling, security, and governance in ServiceNow.
● Experience working with or supporting federal customers; understanding of federal compliance and security requirements.
● A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead workshops, guide teams, and influence stakeholders.

 

 

What will you bring with you?


● Maintain an active government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret Clearance required)
● Certified System Administrator (CSA)
● 2+ Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
● Comp TIA
