Description

As the Department of Defense (DoD) Sales Director with GlideFast Consulting, you will be an integral force in driving the exponential growth of business development and success within the government sector. You will accomplish this through aggressive identification and qualification of potential customers for ServiceNow products and professional services provided by GlideFast Consulting. You will proactively identify, engage, and close new business while engaging with customers at every level of the sales cycle. Your contribution will be crucial to advancing our presence and impact in the federal market.

 

Responsibilities

* Research and identify business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients in the DoD space, and collaborating with the sales team on business strategy to determine objectives   * Understand the competitive landscape, analyze competitors’ strengths in the sophisticated planning tools, investment products, and support processes, and develop a tactical plan for deliverables * Attract as well as retain clients by developing highly creative outreach strategies with assistance from the marketing team * Leverage the CRM (ServiceNow) to track and prioritize sales activities and build/update the customer and prospect database * Research, prospect and establish leads for corporate relationships followed by an introductory needs’ analysis/discovery meeting utilizing a consultative sales approach * Arrange and conduct initial product demonstrations and presentations following the sales process and opportunity to closure * Provide ongoing account management and relationship building to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams by being a trusted advisor to the customer through understanding their current and future needs to drive the ServiceNow solution within the marketplace * Work with internal resourcing team to determine proper resources to ensure a smooth hand-off of closed deals to the delivery team * Attend internal and client-facing kick-off meetings as a client advocate * Monitor project activities and create necessary Change Orders and/or “SOW’s” for assigned engagements * Work in partnership with internal pre-sales team to the delivery team to ensure client success at all levels * Manage full proposal lifecycle from capture, proposals, and transition to the delivery team * Attract as well as retain clients by developing highly creative outreach strategies along with assistance from marketing team

 

* Attend internal and client-facing kick-off meetings as a client advocate * Deliver success in a full life cycle sales role * Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all client meetings and interactions. * Provide a high level of customer service consistently across all engagements * Demonstrate strong operational and analytical abilities

 

Qualifications

* 5+years in an enterprise sales position, selling platform products and services * Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

* Self-motivated, disciplined professional able to function as a true business leader with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks * Uphold excellent time management and organizational skills with an aptitude toward creative problem-solving. * Excellent proficiency with English language: written, reporting, verbal/oral communication skills; must be an effective presenter * Proven troubleshooting skills * Continue learning service delivery solutions, technologies, and methodologies. * Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all client meetings and interactions * Excellent communications skills required – verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management as well as written with technical assessments and project-related reports * Consultative skills for software service delivery to lead customers in improving their processes and organizational models * Be a great leader and team player with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks

 

Certifications / Education

* BA/BS degree preferred or related equivalent work experience
