Description
As a Resource Manager with GlideFast Consulting, you will oversee a crucial segment of our global resource planning through coordination, management, and forecasting; ensuring all projects are staffed effectively and are aligned to business goals and initiatives. The Resource Manager will coordinate with our Sales, Professional Services, and Talent Acquisition teams, to initiate projects, manage resource utilization, and forecast talent supply and demand. Working as a true team player to identify risks and propose process improvements, you will optimize resource utilization through creative problem-solving techniques to enhance GlideFast profitability.
Responsibilities
* Manage a key segment of the resourcing pipeline for incoming projects, ensuring seamless communication of lead times to the sales team * Facilitate proactive coordination with the Talent Acquisition team to effectively staff for diverse roles and skill sets required for project execution * Initiate sales to delivery process; create projects and assignments based on resource plans and customer contracts * Manage resource utilization and forecasts as well as forecast supply and demand for given skills profiles * Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing * Manage and resolve resourcing conflicts and over/under allocations of staff * Create a headcount planning model and work directly with recruiting to execute against it * Identify needs for capacity and skill set (certifications) and work with recruiting to source and onboard resources * Identify risk areas i.e. supply/demand, over/under staffed, shortage of a specific skill etc. and review these with internal stakeholders and managers * Monitor day-to-day project activity to effectively identify risks to project staffing * Develop and maintain skill matrix and capacity data for professional services team* Lead and train resource coordinators through resourcing tasks and initiatives * Partner with internal process improvement groups to identify areas to better equip resources with content, process or tools to increase project delivery efficiencies * Identify and solution continuous process improvements for resource management * Provide accurate and timely documentation to ensure performance and project issues are being addressed
Qualifications
* 2+ years of related experience in a resource planning or management role * Previous experience enabling resource management for ServiceNow professional service teams is strongly desired * Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development * Strong leadership skills * Strong analytical and qualitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts * Ability to adeptly manage multiple evolving priorities within a dynamic and fast paced work environment * Ability to work with leaders to accomplish organizational priorities and guide other leaders through the impact of decision alternatives * Ability to manage change effectively and with a positive attitude * Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure * Experience with Google Suite, MS Office, Zoom, Slack * Excellent organizational and leadership abilities * Excellent interpersonal skills * Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

Certifications / Education
* Resource Management Certified Practitioner (RMCP) Certification preferred * Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
The starting pay range for this role is $$100,000.00 - $$120,000.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
